The area around Isola Rossa is interspersed with trails which are ideal for hiking, trekking, mountain biking or off-road running. Discover the mysterious corners of places such as Cala Rossa cove, Tinnari beach at the foot of Monte Tinnari, the highest mountain in northern Sardinia Monte Limbara, coastal footpaths between the Badesi resort and Costa Paradiso, Capo Testa or Santa Tersa di Gallura. The nearby La Marinedda beach is a popular destination for surfers from all over the world. An international SURF CONTEST is held here every year. Beginners are also catered for here as you can find 2 surf schools on the beach. We recommend the beaches in Badesi and in Valledoria for fans of kitesurfing (Li Feruli beach and San Pietro a Mare beach).

The stretch of coast between Isola Rossa and Costa Paradiso offers a wealth of underwater life and is characterised by its countless number of coves, beaches, red granite crags and crystal clear water. It is the ideal place for fans of fishing and scuba divers. There are two scuba diving centres in Isola Rossa which offer a wide range of services (scuba diving courses, ESA courses for adults and children including certification at the end, motor boat rental, filling of scuba diving tanks, scuba diving rental and repair). You will find stalls in the port in Isola Rossa where you can rent motor boats, buy various boat trips and also stalls offering a water taxi service which will transport you to beautiful untouched beaches in the surrounding area.
